Cathy Tyler
Cathy Tyler is the Director of Accreditation, Workforce Development, and Customer Success at the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), where she leads the Workforce Development, Accreditation, Audit, and Customer Success teams. She works to strengthen partnerships among industry, education, and workforce organizations to expand access to high-quality training and career pathways in the skilled trades.

With 26 years of service to NCCER, Cathy has led the implementation of national partnerships with organizations including the Future Farmers of America (FFA), Hiring Our Heroes, the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), and numerous industry and education partners.
She helped spearhead NCCER's Construction Academies for adult education, creating new pathways for adult learners to earn industry-recognized credentials and enter high-demand construction careers. A recognized leader in workforce development, Cathy has also served on the boards of the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and the Texas Industrial Vocational Association (TIVA).

A passionate advocate for adult education and workforce development, Cathy has participated in COABE's Flood the Hill and other national advocacy efforts, working alongside educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to advance workforce solutions that benefit learners and employers alike. She brings to this founding board role deep expertise in cross-sector collaboration, employer engagement, and workforce strategy, along with a commitment to expanding economic opportunity through education and skills training.
