Heather Tharp
Heather Tharp is a Career Development Consultant with West Virginia Adult Education who has dedicated more than nine years to helping adult learners achieve academic, workforce, and personal success. A graduate of Marshall University, she has served in a variety of roles, including Adult Education Instructor, SPOKES Instructor, CPR/First Aid Instructor, Mental Health Awareness Instructor, and WVSSAC Coach.

Passionate about the transformative power of education, Heather is committed to helping learners build the skills, confidence, and credentials needed to achieve their goals. She works closely with students to connect education with meaningful career opportunities while fostering personal growth and lifelong learning.

A strong advocate for adult education, Heather is dedicated to expanding opportunities for learners and strengthening communities through education. As a member of the NAFTAE Board of Directors, she is committed to advancing policies, partnerships, and innovative practices that elevate adult education and expand opportunity nationwide.
